High Velocity AC is a national distributor for Hi-Velocity Systems, a leading manufacturer of high velocity air conditioning and heating systems. Its energy-efficient air delivery system is designed to provide heating, cooling, filtration, ventilation, humidification and dehumidification in a small-duct, high velocity delivery system (SDHV).
The Hi-Velocity SDHV System is different than conventional systems because the supply duct work has a small diameter and is easy to install inside existing walls with minimal remodelling. The flex duct fits inside a typical framed wall without having to disturb the drywall, and the compact fan coil is modular and fits easily in mechanical rooms, closets, attics, and crawl spaces. It is a perfect choice for both new construction and retrofits.
What Makes Hi-Velocity Air Conditioning and Heating Different?
The pressurized small duct system conditions the air quite differently than conventional forced air systems. The high pressure areas and low pressure areas continuously mix the room air, creating even temperatures from floor to ceiling. Air from the uniquely designed round outlets mixes the ambient air thoroughly and eliminates the hot and cold spots commonly found with conventional systems.
High velocity air conditioning and heating systems reduce common dust build-up and allergens. The pressurized plenum duct eliminates dust build-up within the duct work, while filters eliminate airborne dust and other allergens from the continuous air circulation.
